David founded OliveHomes.com after nearly two decades living and working in Portugal — long enough to know the market from the inside, and to have built the relationships that matter.

His career began in British banking, where he spent a number of years as a branch manager at NatWest before making the leap to entrepreneurship, establishing his own finance brokerage in the UK.

He sold the business in the late 1990s and chose Portugal as his permanent home, a decision he has never looked back on.

Since then, property has been his world. From running estate agencies to overseeing renovation projects, and with transactions and developments spanning the Algarve, Cascais, Lisbon, and Porto, he brings a rare breadth of hands-on experience to every client relationship.

When he's not working, you'll find him outdoors — walking, enjoying sport, or hosting a barbecue for friends and family somewhere with a breathtaking view.
